Visas

All international students require a student visa to study at AIE Institute. Visas are arranged through the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs.

Once you have accepted your offer and received your Certificate of Enrolment (CoE) from our team, you can apply for your international student visa. Visa arrangements may take a few weeks to up to six months to be processed and finalised from the point of you submitting your application. As such, we encourage all international students to start the visa application process as early as possible.

You can receive advice about the student visa application process, your student visa and its entitlements from:

• the Department of Home Affairs
• an Education Agent, Migration Agent, or Lawyer who is registered by the Migration Agent Registration Authority (MARA)

If your visa has not yet been finalised and you will not be able to arrive in time for Orientation week and the start of your semester, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.
