Arriving in time for Orientation week and to settle into your accommodation

Orientation week includes various sessions and workshops to assist you with transitioning into study at AIE Institute, such as meeting your cohort, learning how to access your learning resources, key administrative and academic processes and expectations, and other important sessions. Orientation week takes place one week before teaching weeks commence and is compulsory for all commencing students.
You will also want to arrive in time to settle into your accommodation. You may want to arrange temporary or short term accommodation to stay while you become familiar with your new city, either Canberra or Sydney depending on your chosen campus, and look for longer term accommodation for the duration of your studies. Detailed information on student accommodation providers and share accommodation matching is available in the Student Handbook – International Students.
