Internships
Bachelor of Game Development students have the opportunity to apply to participate in the * internship program in their third year. The internship program provides students with opportunities to use technical, artistic and creative skills and knowledge in a workplace developing games, simulations, gamified applications and advanced technologies for human computer interaction working alongside industry practitioners.

* Students who complete GDC300A Major Production 1 will be given the option to choose between doing a full-time internship in GDC300I Internship (competitive merit-based selection process applies) or completing GDC300B Major production 2 (double credit unit) and two elective units. Internship places are limited and students wishing to participate are required to submit an expression of interest form, with the required evidence, by the due date. Applying students will need to consult with the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator before finalising their application. Late applications may not be accepted. The AIE Institute and WIL Internship Provider will execute a WIL Internship Agreement before students are accepted and notified.
