We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation who are the traditional owners of the land on which AIE Institute Sydney stands, and the living culture of the traditional custodians of these lands. We recognise that the traditional owners have occupied and cared for this country over countless generations and celebrate their continuing contribution to the life of Sydney. AIE Institute celebrates diversity in all its forms and welcomes students to our harmonious and supportive environment.
Our Ultimo campus is situated within the heart of Sydney’s games industry, in a dynamic innovation and technology precinct. Students studying at the Ultimo campus are fortunate to be surrounded by a thriving community of established developers, independent studios, start-ups and universities.
We are a 10-15 minute walk or bus ride from Central Station, with bus stops along Broadway, a 2-5 minute walk from our campus. Central Station connects to trains, light rail, and buses running across Sydney, as well as regional connections. For more information, please visit the Transport NSW website.

Accommodation
Accommodation
Students who are moving to Sydney to study with AIE Institute will no doubt be looking for a place to call home for the next few years. There are a range of options available to students and AIE Institute is happy to assist and provide guidance to students who may be unfamiliar with the area.
As we are located among a number of other educational institutions, there is a lot of student accommodation options in the immediate area, such as Unilodge.
Students might also like to consider the following websites when finding share accommodation or rental accommodation:
- Gumtree – Rental Properties in Sydney
- Flatmate Finder
- Iglu – Student Accommodation in Sydney
- UniLodge – Student Accommodation in Sydney
We do not endorse any particular product and acknowledge that there are other valid options we have not listed here. We are also happy to put notices up on our internal notice boards as our students often have rooms to rent in their places or might also be looking for accommodation at the same time.
AIE Institute’s Student Support Services staff are on hand to provide guidance in the area if required.
