Transport

How do I get to AIE Institute's Adelaide Campus?

Bus

Public transport buses run frequently and stop in front of the Campus at bus stop number F2. Grenfell Street is serviced by bus routes from most metropolitan Adelaide suburbs and buses stop on all neighboring streets. Grenfell St can also be accessed by the free City Loop Bus (Number 99C).

Train

The Adelaide Railway Station is located only a few hundred metres away from Grenfell St. To access Grenfell Street from the Adelaide Railway Station you can either walk, catch the free 99C City Loop bus or the free Terrace to Terrace tram, both of which stop close to Grenfell Street.

Tram

Rundle Mall and Pirie St are both serviced by a tram service that runs between Glenelg and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Hindmarsh. If you are travelling within the city mile (ie between North Terrace and South Terrace), travel on trams is free.

Car

Grenfell Street is well serviced by multi-story car parking facilities. Car parks can be found on Grenfell Street or neighboring streets.

Accommodation

Accommodation

Students who are moving to Adelaide to study at the AIE Institute will no doubt be looking for a place to call home for the next few years. If you are thinking of moving to Adelaide, it’s a great Idea. Adelaide is often named as Australia’s most livable city and regularly features in the top 10 of the world's most livable cities.

Most Adelaideans claim that Adelaide is the '20 minutes city', meaning you can get anywhere within 20 minutes by car whether you live in the northern, southern, eastern, or western suburbs. That’s a slight exaggeration, but it is an easy city to get around and there is little by the way of traffic jams. Living in the city is an option if you would prefer to walk to campus and there are lots of student accommodation options close by.

Students may choose to source their own student accommodation through sites like gumtree.com.au or flatmatefinder.com.au, or choose a structured student accommodation environment like scape.com.au or unilodge.com.au (Please note that we don’t endorse any product and acknowledge that there are some very valid options we have not listed here).

AIE’s Administration/Student Liaison Officers are on hand to provide guidance - just ask!
